Mend Renault Laguna 1.9 dci Working Dci

renault card key sometimes not working?

I have a Renault Laguna 1.9 dci. When I put my card key in the slot it doesn't bring up all the lights and won't start. When I tried a booster on the battery terminals it worked so I changed the battery. With the new battery it displays the same problem, connect a booster and it works. Any suggestions?
