scantronic 9448+ external sounder not working?

both my friend,the bell box has a sab module,its fed twelve volts from the control panel and returns same to the panel,if it loses the voltage,then it triggers,you can do do a bell test by pressing 4 enter then your code,the internal sounder will sound for 3 secs,then the external sounder will sound for 3 secs if it does not,then you have a bell box prob

The external sounder should have its own battery. However this will not be your problem.
There is a problem with the sounder/the panel/ the wiring.
Get testing with a meter, and prove each part one by one by one.
Or call an engineer should take a competent one 5 minutes to prove the equipment, then quote you on a remedy.
