how do I get the air bag off the steering wheel on a renault megane?

you will need to disconnect the battery, leave it off overnight so any charge in air bag discharges, it will be held on with small screws, usually underneath, take these out and airbag should come off, remember before taking battery off have you got radio codes etc, or you might have problems when you reconnect battery.
