Renault scenic '02 plate clunking noise?

Can anyone tell me what's the cause of a clunking noise in engine area, when I take my foot of the accelerator when driving? It doesn't do it when I depress the clutch when driving, so I'm presuming its clutch related?
Any ideas anyone??
