nissan primera 1.6sx 2005 revs up when i clutch at low speed?

nissan primera 1.6sx 2005 revs up when i clutch at low speed then the revs fall 2 seconds later,the car does not rev up when it is been driven along in gear,the clutch seems fine ,the car has 70000 miles on the clock any ideas on how to fix this
