i need help my mini laptop acer just got the same problem please i need help on how to get rid of the blue screen , i was using it yesterday it was ok but today whenever i turn it on the after the welcome screen the blue screen appears and restarts my laptop i need help right away,

I just came across this and have the same exact blue screen error and can't get the windows debugger to work which seems like the solution to the people here. I'm just really not sure how to use it. any help would be appreciated.

Incompatible Hardware is the most possible cause if this error occurs during an installation of an operating system, Check all hardware and connections-may be loose, also pull out RAM and gently clean contacts with an eraser, reinsert and wiggle side to side it confirm a good contact.

what do you do if you get this during a installation of Vista? The installation process has just finished the expanding files process and throws up the blue screen with bad_pool_caller.... ?

simply put your ram is out of sync either reset bios or put new ram sticks in prob solved

when you go to safe mode with networking justdo the system restore and you are done issue will be resolved

if u have any other computer, try connecting ur hard drive to that computer or u can use sata to USB adapter to retrieve the info from hard drive.

Back up your important data by logging on with safe mode with Networking...download the latest drivers online and put on a CD or Flash Drive...and reinstall the OS...and then install the latest drivers after that...will permanently fix the issue of BAD-POOL-CALLER 0x000000C2 (0x0000007, 0x00000CD4, 0x84F0AA18, 0x8505D540)

i had the same BAD POOL CALLER problem and i had resolved that problem with your suggestions!!

If you are getting blue screen with the error code 0x000000C2 BAD-POOL-CALLER. You will be able to go to safe mode with networking. So try to logon to the computer with administrative rights in safe mode with networking by pressing F8 key on the keyboard when the computer starts and you see the logo of the manufacturer of your computer. highlight safe mode with networking by pressing the down arrow keys and highlight and hit enter on it and your computer will start in safe mode and you will be able to connect to internet. Go to https://microsoft.com and download windows debugger and run it in your computer. Now go to run and in the run box type minidump and the folder will get opened. select the one that is at the top and open it in windows debugger by going to file options of windows debugger and you will be able to know what caused the problem and you will find a resolution for it as well in it.
We download windows debugger to decipher the file in minidump folder. One more thing that we can try over here without downloading these stuffs is we can try system restore by clicking on Start-All Programmes-Accessories-System Tools-System Restore and select the date in which you think the computer was operating well and that will take care of the issue as well but it is not a permanent solution for the problem. To identify what the problem is we need to install windows debugger and open the minidump file that will have the detailed account of the problem that caused the Blue Screen to appear.

Uninstall the nero package and any other software containing hardware drivers that you have installed BEFORE seeing this message. Once you have done that reboot the computer. once o/S has booted go to windows update, use the CUSTOM INSTALL option and select non priority and driver updates (there maybe several) once its downloaded and installed all the updates (you may need to visit microsoftupdate more than once) then install NERO and other drivers. This error message is a driver conflict and it produces the blue screen of death that you get. This WILL solve the problem.
