I have just bought a high mileage (125k) '07 1.8 CDTi Ford Transit Connect. After only a couple of weeks use the oil pressure warning light has started to come on when the engine ticks over or when breaking at junctions or corners when the engine is warm. It doesn't seem to happen if it is facing up-hill. I have checked the oil level a couple of times and if anything, it is ever so slightly too high on the dipstick.
would start by having an oil and filter change,if no better you may be looking at an oil pump,oil filter is easier to do by removing 13mm bolt on bottom engine mount and lever engine forward a small bit,little bit of clearance makes all the difference
