Why won't hot water some out of my new hot kitchen tap?
I have just plumbed in new kitchen taps to the old hot and cold water pipes and hot water won't come out of the hot tap. There is hot water elsewhere in the house so it's not a problem with the boiler. Any ideas?
I know nothing my advice is worthless - in your situation I would mess around with the cold water stop tap - the one you turned off before you began - open it a bit more and test it - close it a bit more - and say what type of boiler you have - I suspect a combi...

sorry, just realised i need to clarify -water comes out of the hot tap but it's cold!

Do you have inline turn off tap, check its not turned off
