Mend Not Fixed Easily

Double glazed window does not close properly. Can it be fixed easily?

A small top opening window has slipped and it no longer engages properly, leaving a gap when closed at the top. Can I adjust the sliding mechanism myself; it looks relatively simple?

the slots on the frame that the lugs engage into are adjustable just slacken the screws and move them go slow do one at atime and only adjust by about 1mm if you make it worse move it in the opposite direction 2mm

Chris I have exactly the same problem and am desperated to get it fixed before the onset of winter. Is your gap only on one side of the top of the window?
