ignis dishwasher adl349/a?

i have just bought this dishwasher new had it plumbed in by my plumber but when i tried 2 switch on 4 a cycle the start button is flashing and the warning sound beeps.can u tell me what the problem is?does hot water have 2 be plumbed 2 it as well as cold?
