Mend Thomson DT6300 Freeview Box

How can I fix Thomson freeview box Hard drive?

My Thomson DT6300 box states that there is no hard drive. I have tried full factory reset and reformat hard drive. Is there anything clever I can do (that is really simple) or do I need to go get a new one?
