warning lights, renault clio 1.2 16v?

I have a renault clio 1.2 16v and for the last few weeks the ABS and serv warning light has been coming on and off, yet it sat a MOT test and passed last week, is this a major problem that means it isnt road worthy ? and how would I get this fixed ?
