Mend Belling G576 Gas Working Fine

how to repair a problem?

i Have a Belling G576 free standing gas oven which was working fine until yesterday, when my wife lit the oven and released the knob the oven went out it will stay a light if you keep the knob pressed in, any ideas.

Belling Belling G576 Kitchen Appliances, Gas Cookers Gas Working Fine

they have a thermal coupling safety valve,which mean's once it reaches a certain temperature it releases the gas,possibly this has given up,try vacuming by the jet's(where flame burn's)& try lighting again
