Mend Whirlpool ET22DKXVW00 Refrigerator Defrost Temperature

Refridgerator, whirlpool Model ET22DKXVW00?

The freezer does not run cold enough after several weeks.
Ice seems to build up in the back interior panel where it can not be seen. I defrost the refidgerator and it will work fine for about a month. Then the freezer continually gets warmer until I manually defrost it again. What is the problem?
