Mend Gainsborough 10.5 DELUXE

How do I remove a Gainsborough 10.5 DELUXE Shower ?

The copper water pipe leading into the Gainsborough 10.5 DELUXE Shower is stuck/very stiff and I don't want to pull too hard incase I break it. I want to replace the shower unit with a new one. I thought I would be able to just lift off the old unit from the water pipe?
