I have a 1996 Renault Clio with 1.2 engine. The temperature warning light comes on every 25-30 miles and I have to wait for engine to cool before topping up and moving on. I have noticed water dripping from the area around the sump but cannot trace it any further up. It looks like an area above crankshaft pulley and belt area-can anybody suggest where this may be leaking from and how difficult is it to repair?
possible water pump, sorry not up on clios but it may be driven off your cambelt and would advise to get it looked at as soon as possible before the belt breaks
