I have a hotpoint washing machine Aquarius WMF740, bought this 14 months ago. It's making a loud noise in the spin cycle. How difficult is it to fix this problem?
I have bought a aquarius wf220 second hand, it washes then wont spin and the top light flashes

You cannot get a drum bearing kit for the WMF740 as they're welded into the drum outer. You have to buy a whole new drum outer etc at £140 or so instead of £25 for a typical bearing kit. Rip off!!! Built in obsolescence by Hotpoint - now common on 'modern' machines.

Hi mine is the same, call hotpoint and you need the drum bearing replaced, you,ll need the complete drum assembly

washing machine water stil init but pump is pumping water out on rinse but 5 mins before end of cycle it stops and flashes up f,01 could u help

hi all
my machine was smelling so remove the pipe to clean and now the child lock button will not stop flashing or beeping
done a small wash when replaced the pipes empty load

check the drum bearings for play (wear) by pushing the inner drum upwards with hand at the 12 o clock position any wobble points to bearing failure if OK next open the machine check the concrete counter weights are still tight usually 1 top and 1 bottom and that no springs are off/snapped
