Mend Fagor Door Lever Open

Have a Fagor FW714IT and the door lever has snapped and I cannot open. ?

Have a Fagor FWM714IT and the door lever has snapped. It is only 7 months old and according to very officious and unhelpful Customer Care woman is not covered by the 12 months warranty (beware if you're thinking of buying one of these machines!!) I have washing in the machine and really would like to get the door open. Any ideas?

They say it is only 3 months guarantee on those sort of parts and 12 months on mechanical failure parts. However whilst I sort that out, I still need to get my clothes out of the washing machine

your supplier is breaking the law,if you have a 12 month guarantee they have to repair or replace it
go to the citizen advice people you have a cast iron case tell her that you are reporting them to the papers,or get the service number for fagor,they are trying to con you
