reset code for alarm when old code has been forgotten?
9800 scantronic alarm - i have bought a property with this alarm - was working when I bought the place but due to me not using it I have forgotten the code - how do I reset the code so that I can use the alarm
as alarm guy says mate,you need an engineer to do reset,and reprogramme the panel,there are too many variables to advise you on this,not knowing your system configs,better to spend a few pounds,and get it done right .

You will need the engineers code to do a standard default.
Otherwise its open the panel ( Warning dangerous voltages inside), locate the NVM remove all power, reinsert NVM re power. Then use the default settings and reprogramme the system. Any reputable company should be able to do this for you. Expect about 1 hour to make sure everything is correct.
