Ariston A1535, the dial keeps spinning ?

The dial keeps spinning and the on/off light flashes 10 times, I have tried all the things suggested like turning off for 10 minutes, checking the filter and the pipes for blockages / kinks etc. But all to no avail. Can anyone help before I call out the repair man.??
