How Can I Fix My Mini Dirt Bike?

I have had this mini dirt bike for a couple of months and ride it around the private car parks that surround my house. I sometimes take it to an old air field and this is where the problems occur. When you throttle the bike it starts to draw back and eventually stall when you slow down enough, but when you realise the throttle slightly then it goes better but still not normal. Could it be the mix as it is 25/1? The carb is as clean as a whistle. Also the fuel filter seems to be always full so could it be that it is starving itself of fuel? The bike now will only tick over and will stall if you even give it a slight throttle. Can anyone give me any ideas. Anything will be gratefull.
Kind Regards.

At the bottom of the carb is a small screw turn off the petrol and undo the screw wait until all of the petrol and 2 stroke is out put the screw back in and then turn the petrol back on,

Start the mini dirt bike and let it warm up for at least 1 min the see if it dose it if it still does that lift up the back with front on the ground and gie it a good rev if this gets better then the job is done if not buy a upgrade for the jet inside the carb

its all good taking the air filter off but then you suck in dirt and get a blocked carb.
upjet the carb!!

Tristian, have you checked that the fuel tank is clean? You may want to drain the tank and check for debris. Then follow the fuel line to its conclusion for any kinks or blockages. Good Luck

the problem is clearly lack of fuel,it stalls when you rev it beacause the extra air it gets when the slide lifts up is not what it wants,it needs more fuel too the needle the controls the speed the fuel is sucked in is joined to the slide that controls the air but it doesnt lift out much when first throttled only when the slide is right up.i would say the main jet needs to be bigger or you could try changing the position of the circlip on the needle in the throttle slide also the float level that alters the fuel level in the float bowl can cause this too but its unlikely this would change without you altering it .the problem is that the emission levels these bikes are produced to stick too are so low that all the settings on the carb will be set to make the bike run as lean as possible (using less fuel)taking of the air filter is the last thing it needs this will only cause the engine to get more air !i would first try movint the circlip on the throttle slide to the slot nearest the pointed end of the nedle if that doensnt work try a bigger main jet.if you cannot get a jet then increase the size of the hole in the jet to approx 10 bigger than it is i.e say it has a 100 main jet in it drill the hole to a 110 by using a 1.1mm drill bit ok let me know what happens mate, adam

i have had this problem alot with my sons dirt bike the problem seems to be the air filter i used to clean it all the time but would not last long before the bike would loose speed then stall so i removed the filter altogether and now i dont have that problem it runs all day without loosing speed or stalling
