Mend Belt Replaced Replace

fan belt squealing since replaced by garage?

garage replace fan belt when did cambelt, hasnt been right since, been back twice to tighten belt as they say, it squeals when turning and the battery charge light comes on, now the light is on full and pas doesnt work cos belt now come off! at garage at mo but i am not happy cos i didnt ask them to change it and when they did nothing but problems!

if it is at the garage you will have to have a word with them when you pick it up if they found anything wrong with the pulleys,tensioners etc,if it was squealing it was either too loose or something was seized,the very reason it eventually came off is suspicious and whether you will ever find out if they caused the problem remains to be seen
