How do i mend my hedge trimmer cable?

i have cut my hedge trimmer flex,it is too short to just put the plug on.the cable is sealed into the trimmer.it is a bosch 16mm.

Fit a flex connector to join the severed ends up. You can get one from Maplins for about a fiver.
