Hi - part of the hinge mechanism on three of my double glazed windows has broken, namely a little black bar in the side frame. Any ideas if you can repair these fairly easily? I had a quote from Anglia which was very expensive... thanks!
order a screwfix magazine and you will find upvc hinges at good prices.you will need a phillips head screwdriver(not pozi) and maybee a cordless screwdriver with a hss steel drill bit the size of the shank of the screws in your hinges,usually 4mm.
