where is the 02 heater sensor on my 1.8 2001 picasso?

In general,the o2 sensor is located in the exhaust or manifold, prior to the catalytic convertor. the o2 sensor normally has a heater built in to it,because it only works properly when its hot, it will also have one after the catalytic convertor to monitor that the cat is doing it's job.Not sure what wires you are refering to, or what control panel.
