I have Mondeo Zetec Auto 2004 petrol 2.0 86000M. Never had any problems.
I was speeding at about 80 to catch the other car when I heard little tumb noise from the gear box and lost the drive. The engine is fine but no drive in any gear. Transmission fluid is OK. Lever selector OK. Can you help please?
Same level proves pump is not working. The subframe will need to be lowered slightly. The mount will need to be unbolted. The pump is the end cover. Remove cooler pipe and speed sensor lead. After draining ATF remove all cover bolts 8 mm. As the case corrodes you will need a puller on the two threads available. Sometimes this can only be removed from inside the box after box removal. Pump or shaft damage should be obvious. Putting it back together is another matter. Use a specialist. www.fedauto.co.uk

I have checked ATF level as you told me and it is the same level before and after.
Can you advice me on how to repair it please. I am going to do it myself.

When you say no drive in any gear I'm assuming also no Reverse. If so the fault is therefore common to D and R. First check ATF level without starting engine and note level. Recheck after starting. The level should go down indicating that the pump is working. If it stays at same level suspect pump drive/pump. If it goes down is there enough fluid. These do not suffer with leaks but cooler lines can rust. You could also crack open cooler fitting with engine running to prove pump flow. (messy). If when running in gear and Park is selected it makes a horrible noise then the box is working and it is an output problem. Driveshaft spline/ cv joint. Please repost findings if more help required
