hot water taps?

if its a combi the cold water valve to boiler is turned of ie no water into the boiler no hot water or no water out. if its a tank then the coldwater stop tap to the tanks is off or the cold water to the cyclinder gate vale is off opeen all the valves u can see and find the ones u dont see ie they maybe it the attic, cupboard or concealed. follow the pipes is the best way to go. or it may be a blockage
