Mend Citroen Xsara 1.4 Control Valve Revs

How do I clean the Idle control Valve on Citroen Xsara 1.4?

Engine revs on its own, is it an easy job to clean the Idle Control Valve on the Manifold ?

i had the same problem a few years ago but on the 1.8, i ended up replacing the stepper motor/idle control valve as it was worn and this cured it. remove the torque screws and it should slide out.
