Dishwasher wont end cycle?

I have a slimline in-built diplomat (dont know which model as it's not shown) that won't stop once you start the cycle. It has 5 functions all with red lights that display which cycle you have selected. the light stays on when the cycle is in progress and then flashes when it has finished. When you start the cycle you can hear the beep when the door shuts and the cycle starts, when you expect it to stop, it beeps again and restarts the cycle.
Any help appreciated
