Mend Vauxhall Corsa 973 CC Light Whilst Work

What does this mean?

Orange warning light, lefthand side of Dash board has just come on whilst travelling into work. Engine seems to be hunting, The car is a Vauxhall Corsa 973 CC, reg year is 1999/2000. What does this mean, is it and engine management problem. The car has only done 73000 miles and is otherwise in Excellent condition.

sounds like your engine management light is on,should go onto a code reader for a look at faults stored,crank sensors,egr`s and air flow meters are suspect on these motors
