Belling 335AN oven light?

I have a problem with my belling oven ready light, at some point someone has disconnected the red and white wires as the neon has broken. I have sourced a replacement but don't know where either wire should be connected, I am aware polarity is not important. I would really appreciate someone with this oven that could check for me and let me know as the mrs is going mad at me!
