Mend Whirlpool 302081 Dishwasher Appears Door

How can I find the spring for my Whirlpool dishwasher #302081?

It appears as though the spring for the door on my Whirlpool dishwasher #302081 is gone. The door slams open if it is not all the way latched - it did not always do this. I am concerned because I have a toddler and would hate for her to inadvertently open the door and have it crash on her. How do I find a replacement part and then install it?
