LCD Tv with 12v lead to mains transformer?

Just been browsing this section.
Of course you can. Thats why we both paid over the odds for a tv that works off 12 volts.
If you are not on a site with mains-just make sure the battery voltage does not drop below, say 12.4v. But as caravaners you will know all about battery care and voltage.
It's excessive voltage that causes the problems- never run a tv direct from the battery charger without having a battery in the circuit
