how to fix my old farmall tractor?

1953 farmall tractor 4 cyl. 164 cu.in. eng.starts but will not stay running when you put a load on it. it starts to break up and will only run for awhile with the choke pulled out??? cleane d the carb. fuel filter,new plugs, wires ,points and cond. are a year old???

have you checked that fuel is flowing from tank,there may be a gauze filter on outlet/tap which may be blocked.is tap ok and not blocked,also there will be a breather hole top of float chamber area that may be blocked,also check tank cap is venting.
