suspension front pipe leak?

My 1998 Xantai has started leaking fluid out of the pipe which screws into top of pump, I loosened the pipe and re done up as tight as possible, now when I start car it is spurting out between small nut and pipe, does this connection have o ring seal or is ot a damaged pipe
