Damixa bath pillar tap?

I cannot remove the leaking valve in my hot tap. It is locked solid and depite liberal application of WD40 won't budge. The taps were originally purchased from B&Q about 5 years ago and this is the second time this has occured. On the first occassion I went back to them and the tap was replaced free of charge but they don't stock them any more. The tap in question is similar to the Damixa Clio range but lever operated. Could it be a left hand thread? I daren't try to force it.
