Mend Triton T70i Shower Temperature Control

How can I fix my Triton T70i?

My shower is about 10 years old and has worked perfectly until a few days ago. Then, when I pulled the ceiling pull switch, the shower started immediately and turning the control switch had no effect. The only way to stop it was to get out of the bath and use the pull switch. The temperature control works o.k.

Any suggestions please.
