front wheels sqeaking?

could it be brake pads? how do i know if they need replacing? thanks...

the squeaking may be your low pad warning,jack up front,use support stands,get a torch you can usually see the wear on the pads without taking wheels off,look where the pads contact the disc and check the pad lining thickness
