Mend Citroen Picasso 1.8 Work Petrol Problem

how can i get my speedo to work on my picasso 1.8 petrol?

can anyone shed any light on a problem with a citroen picasso 1.8 petrol 2004. the speedo does not work and the miles do not clock up, tried new speed sensor and have left battery disconnected for over 24 hours. it does not even display zero it just has two lines. would love to hear any ideas, many thanks

sounds like the cable has came loose from the gear box.
its quite easy to fix if you can see the loose cable.
it just needs screwed back on...VERY EASY
