How to bypass the oven timer ?

I have a Tricity Bendix SI 450 , the oven timer has gone west. How do I bypass the timer? There are two red wires , a blue , yellow, orange and white wires. I'm thinking to join the two red wires to make the circuit, is that all I need to do or do other wires need joining as well? Thanks in anticipation.
