oil in air filter?

while replacing my air filter on my 03 plate clio, i have notice oil in the air box. I would like to know if this is normal. Thanks.

A trace of oil isn't unusual but any more than that should be investigated.

Certainly the filter shouldn't be getting wet with oil. If it is check breather pipes are clear.
