Mend Rinse Machine Time

Cannot get my washer to rinse or spin-flashes F3?

Went to use the wahing machine for the first time last night, (rented proprty) the wahing cycle seemed finr but then stopped and flashed F3, no instructions to be found. Kept programiing the rice and spin cycle worked for a few mins then flahed back to F3. Please help as my husbands shirts are stuck in the washine machine.
