How can I fix my Toro 8" cut electric grass trimmer?

On my 8" electric grass trimmer, I found that the shaft bearings (sleeve type) had worn and the shaft therefore wobbled. Motor brushes were also worn. Unfortunately, Toro doesn't have those parts available at their internet site. Found sleeve bearings that could be modified to fit but haven't located the right brushes yet.
