sounds like the transmission pressure switch is faulty disconect the switch and see what happens depending on what age of machine you can bypass the switch but only as a temp repair just to be sure you could put a pressure gauge on the transmission and make sure you are getting a good pressure reading this would confirm your transmission pump is working ok.
