Dyson DC07 sucked up water and now smells of burning!?

Hello,

In a moronic move when hoovering some scraped off sealant out of the bath, I managed to suck up some water from the plughole.

The Dyson immediately smelt of burning, so I emptied it, took it apart a bit and left it, hoping it would dry out.

A few days later it still smells of burning whenever I turn it on. Any ideas of what I should do?
