23hp vtwin engine gets hot quits running?

engine will run fine for about 30 min then sputters till it quits seems to have no fuel in filter until it cools down

check the fuel tank cap breather hole's clear, otherwise could have muck in bottom of tank stopping fuel from flowing properly.
