I have just taken similar screws from my rowenta steam iron, in the uk. I used a small thin regular screwdriver, actually the sort you test the mains with. It was not a good fit but it worked. Inside the wires terminated in standard electrical connectors, so replacing the cord would be easy. My problem is that the iron does not "get warm", the light is never on. I think the light might act as a fuse, as I cannot get into the bowels of the iron to see where the power supply stops.
