Bosch WFF 2000 and the prewash light keeps flashing (one flash)?

I have a Bosch WFF 2000 and the prewash light keeps flashing (one flash). The on/off light isn't working but the other lights are. I tried to put it on yesterday and the dial went rapidly through the whole cycle to the end and unlocked the door without doing a wash. I know what to do with the triple flash, but this is new to me.
