How can I get my weed eater trimmer to run?

I gave it new fuel mixture, new spark plug finally got it to start but it will not continue to run

Hi have you got the choke off after it started? or try and run it on half choke till it gets going a bit then off with the choke. Also clean the air filter. Hope that helps.
