Mend WestPoint 2WT470 Refrigerator Safety Appliances

WestPoint Fridge 2WT470?

I had this 5 year old WestPoint 2WT470 Fridge which worked fine untill it caught fire and destroyed my kitchen.

I have never heard of a fridge catching fire, is this normal?
